PSP Drive, PSPcasting Site

  • June 1st, 2005

This link has probably been cross linked to death by now (after all it was on Boing Boing yesterday). I meant to post this over the weekend, but got delayed due to some computer issues. Well, now here it is… The site uses a special JAVA applet to automatically download the media file (weather it be MP4, MP3, or Still Image) to your PSP if its plugged in to your computer!

PSP Connect

Sony has recently launched PSP Connect a site dedicated to downloadable content for the PSP in MP4 format. A number of known brands have committed to delivering content to the PSP over the coming months.

The site currently has about 12 or so MP4 videos in various lengths, and subject matter. I was especially interested in the NIKE commericals and the Speed Racer episodes.

After having to wait patiently for this latest release from Daft Punk, I have to admit that I was a tad disappointed. I was not to impressed with the Discovery release, until after seeing the Interstella 5555 DVD. Then it all became very clear, the Discovery album was REALLY a soundtrack to their million dollar Japanese animation masterpiece.

I def. liked Human After All better than Discovery, but I was hopingfor it to be even more hard edge, along the likes of LCD Soundsystem or Fischerspooner.

All in all, I did like the release, and it gets rotation on iTunes and my iPod. I did Buy It After All...
